Hi! It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted here. I haven’t even been keeping up with haiku challenges! Once again, life has gotten in the way of writing. We have spent the last month making updates to a house we bought and then moving in. The house is still a work in progress, but it’s coming along.

Another major life change that is fast approaching is the birth of my oldest daughter’s first baby. I’m extremely excited to be a grandmother!

In other news, my youngest daughter started college last week. Her kitty, Pouncer, suffered an injury last week that resulted in a trip to the emergency vet. She has been busy caring for her cat (who is doing well, but furious at having to wear a cone to prevent him from messing with his wound) and trying to settle in to the new house.

In terms of writing, there isn’t much to report. I am working on an editing project while trying to complete revisions on the How-To book I wrote about Self-Publishing. I am hoping to publish the book by the end of this month, but with everything else going on, I’m not sure if that’s going to be doable.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on. As soon as life settles down, I plan to resume blogging, visiting blogs, and being active in the blogging community once again. Until then, I hope everyone is doing well and writing up a storm!
