It’s April and that means NaPoWriMo is upon us. National Poetry Writing Month is a month-long challenge to write a new poem each day. I’ve dabbled in poetry here and there, but I’ve never participated in NaPoWriMo. Will I be able to write a new poem every single day for the next thirty days? Time will tell. I will, however, dedicate the entire month of April to writing and reading poetry. Watch this blog for links to brilliant poems like this one from Jane Dougherty and watch out for my own somewhat less sophisticated poetry.
