I wrote a quick haiku as part of RonovanWrites Weekly Challenge. The two prompt words are NIGHT and SNEAK:
Evil darkness sneaks
Creeping beneath night’s cover
Daylight never comes
If you’d like to read some poetry by other participants in the challenge, here’s a link to Ronovan’s blog post: https://ronovanwrites.com/2018/03/05/ronovanwrites-weekly-haiku-poetry-prompt-challenge-191-sneaknight/
Thanks for visiting me today via Ronavan’s haiku. Mine was “My Coverup.” I like your use of the words in your haiku – evil, sneaky, creepy night.

Thank you, Oneta. The best part of this challenge, for me, is to go to all the other blogs and read the beautiful haiku. It amazes me to see how each poet does something completely different with the prompt words!
