Deep Darkness Haiku

Ronovan picked the best challenge words this week: Darkness & Deep. There are limitless possibilities for these words, but unfortunately, I have limited time to write and post haiku. These are two quick haiku I penned this morning:

Fantasy night in forest

CLOAK OF DARKNESS

Silence settles deep
Peaceful darkness surrounds us
A comforting cloak

FEARFUL FISH

Fish swim deep hoping
Darkness will hide them from the
Fisherman’s sharp hook
