Once again, I’ve fallen behind on my blog posts for National Poetry Writing Month. My computer has been beyond sluggish and the frustration of connecting to the internet is sometimes more than I can take. I did manage to beat my computer into submission long enough to participate in Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Challenge. The prompt words this week are Wonder & Spy.
Cat Spies
Cat spies juicy bird
through the window and wonders
how she can escape

Hi, Tricia. I feel your pain with the sluggish computers. Just wanted to tell you about a few resources you may find helpful.
Try downloading the CC Cleaner free program and using it to get rid of some of the kinks slowing down the works. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
Try Avast antivirus, too. https://www.avast.com/en-us/index
Between these two, my computer stays tolerable, although I have to occasionally go into the task manager and turn off some of the junk running in the background that I don’t even know how it got there!
Thanks for the great poetry. Marianne

Thank you for the suggestions. I’ll give these a try. I did some updates and the computer is better, but still has sluggish moments. Again, thank you!

Love to spy on my cats looking at the pigeons we’ve inherited with our new home. They make such unusual sounds when spying the tasty treats. Happy Easter and hope your computer gets better. ❤

I hope you had a good Easter too! My cats make strange clicking or chirping sounds when they see birds. It’s very amusing!

I love the haiku, i’m sure the cat will be happier just watching.

Thank you! The cat in the picture is happy to watch from the window, but our other cat would much prefer to go outside and sneak up on the birds.
