I wrote the following haiki sequence in response to RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge. The challenge words are Car & Coast:
Frigid winds buffet
A car parked along the coast
No one else in sight
Trapped inside, he waits
For ocean waves to claim him
He will cry no more

A sad one and so expressive.

I really like how many different ways you can choose to interpret this poem. It can be read as a love poem, a poem about loss and just about a hundred other different things!
